Portraits - How it works
Booking:
First, shoot Connor Moriarty an email to schedule the photo experience. You will pick a package that best suits you (see package options below). We will discuss what you get in the package, when we will have a preliminary consultation, and when and where the shoot will be. Remember, a deposit may be required to book the reservation.
Preliminary Consultation (phone or in-person):
This consultation is a simple meeting where we discuss exactly what you want out of the photo shoot. After all, this is all about you, and I am just here to serve. These meetings usually last no more than, and I just want to find out who you are, what your personality is, and what your interests are. The better I get to know you, the better the pictures will turn out. I want to capture your unique identity, and that is only possible through a close and friendly relationship. By the end of the meeting we will have finalized the date and time, locations, outfits, and overall theme you would like. (Expect to sign a safety/agreement contract during this meeting)
The Shoot:
The day has finally come! Once we meet at the designated location, the shoot begins. Depending upon your chosen package, we will take pictures for 1-3 hours. But that time will be up before you know it. Time flies when you're having fun, and every shoot is fun. Don't worry about a strict, up-tight photographer commanding you to do things left and right. This is your shoot. I let you be yourself while offering some tips and tricks to make some great photos. I will make conversation and your comfort level will get to the point where you don't even realize there is a camera between us.
After the Shoot:
Once the shoot has been completed, I like to respect my clients and be very quick with the editing and return of the images. Clients never have to wait more than a few days to see the pictures they've been so anxiously awaiting (and just a reminder, EVERY image is edited and retouched for your convenience).
I like to meet with you in person to show you the pictures. I get just as excited about them as you do, so I like to be there. During this meeting we can meet, again, at a location most convenient to you. I will show you the photos via a password-protected personal online gallery. Typically clients have at least 20-30 photos, but that number can vary depending upon the chosen package.
When we go through the pictures, you just tell me yes, no or maybe. By the end we will have a set of your favorite images, and now all you have to decide is what to purchase. Connor Moriarty Photography is partnered with Bay Photo Lab in California, so you have a wide variety of printing options to choose from. These options include various sized prints on photo paper, canvases, metal, and even products such as phone cases, buttons and luggage tags (see prices below). A FREE personalized iPhone app is included in every package!
If you cannot meet in person, this process can be done completely online. Simply view your password-protected personal online gallery, favorite your favorite photos, and let me know what you would like to purchase.
That's it! In about a week you will receive your personal prints and products in elegant wrapping courtesy of us and Bay Photo. All that's left to do is enjoy your fantastic new photos and share them with all your family and friends! Remember, if they ask, always say Connor Moriarty Photography.
